  • Purchase Order
  • Support has been added for a Miscellaneous (One-Time) Supplier. In Purchase Order > Add Purchase Order, if you enter the Miscellaneous Supplier ID as your Supplier ID, a section labeled "Misc. (One-Time) Supplier Info" will display where you can enter the Supplier Name and Address for the one-time supplier for this purchase order. In Purchase Order > Maintenance, if you choose a Purchase Order for the Miscellaneous Supplier ID then a section labeled "Misc. (One-Time) Supplier Info" will display where you can view/change the Supplier Name and Address for the one-time supplier for this purchase order. Additionally, when you print a purchase order for a one-time supplier, this one-time supplier name and address will print on the order form. - Release Date: 4/21/2020
  • Receivables
  • You now have the ability to specify Payment Account Numbers for each Payment Method in Receivables Parameters. Then, when entering a customer payment either in Receivables Payment Maintenance or Sales Order Payments, if you choose a Payment Method that has an associated Payment Account Number, then that account will be used; otherwise the Default Payment Account Number will be used. - Release Date: 6/17/2020
  • Added "Sales Amount" field to Receivables Transaction generic reports. This field will also be available when creating views in the Other Transaction Maintenance page. - Release Date: 5/13/2020

  • Supplier Parameters now has Miscellaneous Supplier ID that you can set to the Supplier ID that you have assigned for one-time suppliers. See the Purchase Order release note for how the Miscellaneous Supplier ID is used. - Release Date: 4/21/2020

  • There is a new page called Custom Page Help that allows you to write content on various subjects. These pages will show up under each module as "Custom Help". - Release Date: 6/1/2020

Fixed Items

  • Once a generic report was saved with a custom size, it could not be undone. - Release Date: 6/3/2020
  • When adding new Comments, the following Comment entry will now check whether the Comment Type allows multiples, and if not then an error will be generated when attempting to add a duplicate comment for that Comment Type: Customer Comment, Customer Contact Comment, Supplier Comment, Supplier Contact Comment, Part Comment, Purchase Order Comment, Sales Order Comment, Mfg. Order Comment, Quote Comment, Quote Detail Comment, Model Comment, Receivables Comment, and Vehicle Comment. - Release Date: 5/20/2020

  • A problem was fixed in Warehouse Transfer Maintenance where a new Transfer Order ID was incorrectly getting assigned when adding detail to an existing transfer order. - Release Date: 5/18/2020
  • In Inventory > Part Status Inquiry, for a Make part, the [Check Buildable] option was showing an incorrect Quantity Buildable if there were more than 10 parts in the BOM because only the first grid page of 10 items was getting evaluated. The grid will now show all parts so that all items get evaluated. - Release Date: 5/14/2020
  • Several problems were fixed with the Dead Inventory Report where incorrect results might get reported due to how Warehouse and Branch Number usage was handled. - Release Date: 4/20/2020

  • The following changes were made to Create Payables From Receipts: If the variance is exceeded and you choose to post then a popup box will show asking "Are you sure you want to post as un-reconciled?" and the Invoice Amount will be posted instead of the PO Receipts Amount. The problem was fixed when posting receipts as un-reconciled and doing summary posting, where the page incorrectly reported that the PO receipts were marked as reconciled. When posting as un-reconciled, the Payable Status should always be "Not Approved". - Release Date: 5/15/2020

  • In Payables > Quick Invoice/Payment, you will now be prevented from entering a Payment Reference Number if there is already a payables pending payment for that Payment Type and Payment Reference Number. - Release Date: 4/27/2020
  • Purchase Order
  • A problem was fixed in "Purchase Order > Batch Processing" when "Creating Purchase Orders from Unattached Backorders" and using the "Select records to process" option where some records were incorrectly getting selected. - Release Date: 6/5/2020

  • Sales Order
  • In Sales Order Maintenance, a problem was fixed where the order Special Charges Total was not getting updated when computing sales tax and special charges if the sales order was tax exempt (i.e. had a non-blank Tax Exempt Number). - Release Date: 5/27/2020
  • Re-opening a sales order that was merged to receivables using the Close Multiple Sales Orders to One Invoice would delete receivables transactions for all sales orders that were merged, not just the one being re-opened. - Release Date: 5/13/2020
  • In Sales Order Action Report, a problem was fixed with how the Master and Detail sort fields were getting passed as parameters to the report. - Release Date: 5/6/2020
  • Sales Order Maintenance, Sales Order Quick Entry, and Add Sales Order pages were all changed to get the tax code for the Ship-To Country, Ship-To State, and Ship-To Postal Code when Ship-To State or Ship-To Postal Code are changed. Also, changing the Shipping Method between a "Customer Pickup" method and a normal method will now correctly change the Tax Code if State Sales Tax records exist for the updated Ship-To Country, Ship-To State, and Ship-To Postal Code. - Release Date: 5/5/2020
  • Sales orders in Sales Order Maintenance that were priced to hit an specific order total would sometimes be off by a penny or two. - Release Date: 4/23/2020

  • In Supplier Maintenance, a problem was fixed where the [Show All] button for Contact Comments was incorrectly showing supplier comments. - Release Date: 5/20/2020

Changes

  • Exporting most forms to Excel will no longer produce one Sheet for each page in the form. Also the pagination is eliminated in the Excel document (meaning it won't show page 1 of 3, 2 of 3, etc.). Instead it will only show Page 1 of 1 at the bottom of the report. - Release Date: 5/27/2020
  • The My Preferences page has been expanded to allow users the ability to update their own name, address, email, phone numbers, etc. - Release Date: 4/29/2020
  • Accounting
  • In Accounting > Codes Maintenance, for Account Groups, the Inventory Account prompt has been changed to "Inventory/Expense Account" to better indicate that this account will not be an Inventory Account for non-inventory parts. - Release Date: 6/11/2020
  • Modified the Check Register report to product better results when outputting to Excel & CSV. - Release Date: 6/3/2020
  • Branches, Cost Centers, and Profit Centers are now required to be active when importing records in Import G/L Transactions from External Text File. - Release Date: 5/14/2020

  • The subject line in the distribution of scheduled reports has been changed from HTML to plain text. - Release Date: 6/12/2020
  • Inventory
  • Part Inventory Maintenance was changed to add Default Branch, Default Profit Center, and Default Cost Center to the Default Settings. These default values will now be used for any Inventory Transactions created when adjusting inventory. Additionally, if either the Inventory Account or the Offset Account have Branch Verify, Profit Center Verify, or Cost Center Verify flags set, you will get an error trying to adjust inventory if any of these default values are zero. - Release Date: 6/19/2020
  • In Inventory > Part Status Inquiry, the "magnifier" buttons (next to quantity fields) will no longer be disabled just because the quantity is zero - because there may be credit lines that cause the quantity to be zero. - Release Date: 6/12/2020
  • In Inventory > Inventory Count Process, when creating a new inventory snapshot, make [Take Snapshot] button the default button. Also, after clicking [Add Session] then make [Create Snapshot of Inventory] the default button for that option. - Release Date: 5/4/2020
  • The Part Status page now includes the "Allow Fast Build" field in the "Additional" panel. Also, the Part Type field has been moved from the Additional panel to the main page. - Release Date: 4/29/2020
  • The Inventory Count Process [Create Snapshot of Inventory] and [Update Snapshot of Inventory] options were changed to add support for new fields "Book Actual Amount" and "Book Landed Amount" for the extended book actual cost and landed cost of the snapshot. That allows the Inventory Count Detail Actual Cost and Landed Cost fields to now be used for the costs that are actually adjusted for any inventory count adjustments due to quantity variance. - Release Date: 4/23/2020

  • Manufacturing
  • Manufacturing Labor Routing Maintenance now requires you to enter a non-blank Work Description. - Release Date: 5/18/2020
  • When adding a new Mfg. Order and inserting detail records, the Profit Center and Cost Center values will now default per the Inventory Parameter settings for those fields. Previously, those fields were always defaulting from the User's default value setting. - Release Date: 4/29/2020
  • In Manufacturing Order Maintenance, the "Build Order" popup page has been modified to improve the speed that the grid is loaded. - Release Date: 4/15/2020
  • Part
  • The Part Inventory Labels page has been changed to show a grid of the selected Part Inventory records where the user can choose Number of Labels to print for each Part Inventory layer. The user can then enter the number of labels to print for each inventory layer and click the [Print] button to print labels for that inventory layer/row. - Release Date: 6/2/2020
  • Part Pricing Inquiry will now display a message if the Part Number has a Part Status of "Discontinued" or "Hold" or "Zapped". - Release Date: 5/7/2020
  • Payables
  • The Order By options in the Print Payables Payments page would only apply to how any downloaded checks were to be named. This option now determines the order in which the checks are numbered. - Release Date: 6/9/2020
  • There is no longer a restriction of showing 1,000 records in the Create Payables Payments Page. - Release Date: 6/9/2020
  • The Open Payables column in the Payables Status Inquiry is now a running total. - Release Date: 6/3/2020

  • In Purchase Order Batch Processing, when creating purchase orders from unattached backorders, the Purchase Order Detail Order Detail Text will now ALWAYS get set from the Sales Order Detail Order Detail Text field. Previously, this only happened for unknown parts. - Release Date: 5/27/2020
  • In Purchase Order Detail Maintenance, the minimum value of the Landed Cost box would prevent users from entering a landed cost that was less than the actual cost. They will now be presented with a popup message instead. - Release Date: 5/5/2020
  • In Purchase Order > Payables Reconciliation, when un-reconciling, if the Supplier ID and Invoice ID combination no longer exists in Payables Transactions then clear the Purchase Order Receipt Invoice Number.   • Sales Order
  • In Sales Order Batch Processing, for "Reduce Orders" and "Un-Reduce Orders", changed how Event Log records get created so that a new Event Log will get created for each sales order being processed. Additionally, there will now be Log Detail for such records indicating the Sales Order ID being processed. - Release Date: 6/19/2020
  • In Sales Order Maintenance and Sales Order Detail Maintenance, the detail grid will now show "Backorder+Attached" if the backordered line item is attached to a Purchase Order or Mfg. Order. - Release Date: 6/11/2020
  • In Sales Order Batch Processing, when creating purchase orders from unattached backorders, the Purchase Order Detail Order Detail Text will now ALWAYS get set from the Sales Order Detail Order Detail Text field. Previously, this only happened for unknown parts. - Release Date: 5/27/2020
  • The Sales Order Close process was changed to add support for the Sales Order Parameter named "Receivables Close Option" to determine whether to use the current year+month from the Inventory Parameter record or from the Receivables Parameter record when closing a sales order. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you set this option to "Inventory Year and Month" and also have the Receivables Parameter "Restrict to Current Year and Month" set as checked then during the interim period when the Inventory module has been closed for the prior month but the Receivables module is not yet closed for that month, you will not be able to close any sales orders to receivables or post any order payments to receivables during that time frame (i.e. until the Receivables month is closed). - Release Date: 5/14/2020
  • The Sales Order Action Report now includes "Item Status" as a field for selectivity. - Release Date: 5/6/2020
  • When deleting/voiding a sales order, the program will no longer check the validity of each line item. - Release Date: 5/5/2020
  • In Sales Order Detail Maintenance, if the item is on backorder and not attached and it is for a part number that has the "Allow Fast Build" option set, then a [Fast Build] toolbar button will display to allow you to "fast build" a Mfg. Order for that backordered part. - Release Date: 4/30/2020

  • Email Address has been moved from the User record to the Login record. - Release Date: 4/29/2020
  • Vehicle
  • The Vehicle Status and Wheel Duality (SRW/DRW) fields have protected valid responses and should not be allowed to be changed. The valid responses areas have been removed for these fields. - Release Date: 5/13/2020
  • The Vehicle Maintenance page was changed so both the [Update] button and the [Update and Close] button will be visible both on the normal Vehicle Maintenance page and when accessing the page from Sales Order Maintenance. - Release Date: 4/17/2020
